This is a "real" film (that is, celluloid) I worked on many years ago with Krista Steinhauer. It's a pseudo-documentary dealing with the gentrification of a neighborhood in Cambridge, MA, where I once lived.
It was shot on b/w and color 16mm film on a few old sixties cameras that performed well and have since been passed on to others. Since money was running out (it cost around $3000 in total), we took a work-print of all the footage, transfered it to video, and then rented an editing studio in Boston for a week, working in shifts until the final hour, when we had to call it quits.
All in all, for a couple of semi-novices, it ain't bad. And a friend's soundtrack* made it just right.
