STORIES:
"First They're Feverish and Hard to Control" -- a short story written during my graduate school years.
"Evidence" -- first published in Manoa, taking place in the fictional town of Balaam, TX.
SCREENPLAYS:
Over the last few years, my interest in film has expanded into the penning of screenplays. It's an enjoyable form that allows one to focus almost purely on story--unlike novels, which require so much scene-setting and control of expositional language.
Since my attention is more and more taken by my novel-writing responsibilities, the stories in this list are largely on-hold for the moment.
Syndrome (What's worse than stealing your brother's wife? Being responsible for her death.)
Middle Ages (On a beautiful Adriatic island, the Balkan wars are replayed on a personal level.)
Trust (based on my short story, "Investment in Vevey")
Arkadin (a rethinking of the Orson Welles classic)
